Facial paralysis is a devastating disorder, and Julia K. Terzis, M.D., Ph,D.has dedicated years of research and long hours in surgery to bring back the smiles of children and adults worldwide. Dr. Terzis is recognized worldwide for her contributions to the field of Restorative Microsurgery. She established her practice in Norfolk, Virginia in 1981 specializing in the surgical treatment of Facial Palsy, Brachial Plexus Paralysis and Peripheral Nerve Injuries. It is at this center, where Dr. Terzis, and her team of microsurgeons, use the latest techniques in the field of microsurgery to help those afflicted with devastating paralysis.
